John Richardson relieved Adm. Umphrey’s McGee Welcomes Cody Dickinson, Covers Radiohead & Pink Floyd In Tennessee Opener

first_imgLast night marked the first of three consecutive Tennessee performances for the Chicago-based jam group Umphrey’s McGee. Eager to show off their chops to the entire state, the band’s three-night run will see them performing in three cities: Memphis, Knoxville and Nashville. Last night, the band got started on the right foot with a tremendous performance at the Minglewood Hall in Memphis.Among the many highlights of the show were bust-out covers of Radiohead’s “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi” and Pink Floyd’s “Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” both of which were played for the first time in 2016.
