An excellent rounded promotion, and the icing on the cake is certainly the attractive balloon of Varaždin County, whose image will surely flood social networks. Bravo for the excellent promotion of the Varaždin County Tourist Board. Citizens of Pula, Istria County, and many domestic and foreign tourists who are currently staying on this Croatian peninsula, could try Varaždin pumpkin oil, buckwheat gibanek, Varaždin cabbage, fruit brandies and liqueurs, honey and wine from Varaždin vineyards. Natalija Martinčević, County Prefect’s Advisor and Chairwoman of the Varaždin County Tourist Board, pointed out that this event is another contribution to the branding of top quality original products, but also a contribution to the promotion of the entire Varaždin County. “Again, we promote pumpkin oil, Varaždin cabbage, and other products, and our Hussars and Purgars are in themselves a visual attraction. I am glad that a large number of citizens and tourists had the opportunity to get to know our County. A lot of exhibitors responded and I am glad that we met their expectations. The lifting of the balloon was really wonderful and fascinating, and I am sure that the inscription “Varaždin County” has reached many ” said Natalija Martinčević. In addition to the gastronomic delicacies, family farms and producers from the Varaždin County presented their traditional products and handicrafts, and the present visitors were introduced to the Hussar Guard and Varaždin Purgars. The tamburitza ensemble of KUD Toplice from Varaždinske Toplice and the jazz ensemble “Kovačević Brothers featuring Zoran Puljek” were in charge of the musical part of the presentation. Varaždin County today (June 22) presented its cultural and tourist potentials in Pula, and the day before in the evening there was a ceremonial raising of the balloons of Varaždin County in the Pula Arena.
