Contact was lost with the man as the boat sank during the call.Malin Head issued a Mayday call which was responded to by two Northern Irish men out fishing in the area, within  minutes the two adults and four children had been rescued from the water.A spokesperson for Malin Head coast guard said that if it was not for the men’s intervention, lives would have been lost.
