first_imgThe Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a suspect taken into custody after several pipe bombs were found in his possession, has died in jail after being found unresponsive.According to the report, 34-year-old Gregory Haasze was found by a deputy around 8:50 pm unresponsive with torn sheet around his neck. The deputy quickly cut away the sheet and started chest compression until other medical officials arrived.Despite their efforts, Haasze was pronounced dead 10 minutes later.Haasze was arrested on Wednesday after authorities responded to reports of an explosion near Old Boynton Road.In custody, Haasze was charged with on 26 counts of making, possessing, throwing, projecting, placing, or discharging a destructive device.He told authorities he made the devices to remove tree stumps.last_img
